Standards

Editorial Independence and Corrections

These standards apply to every page on Hreflanova, so readers can judge how far to rely on what we publish.

Independence

We do not accept payment for coverage, sell links or sponsored posts, run affiliate links, or review gambling operators. No operator, agency or affiliate has editorial input. The owner's commercial interests are described on the disclosure page.

Sourcing

  • Claims about search engines rest on the search engine's own documentation, with dates.
  • Claims about markets rest on legislation, regulators and official registers.
  • Quotations are exact, and secondary sources are labeled.
  • We do not invent statistics, studies, testimonials, rankings, credentials or case results.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to help find sources and prepare drafts. Before publication every fact, quotation, figure and date is checked against its original source, and the editorial desk named in the byline is responsible for the page.

Gambling content

Hreflanova is a business-to-business publication for SEO and localization teams. We do not promote gambling, publish offers or tips, or write for audiences under the legal gambling age or in markets where the products discussed are prohibited. Pages link to safer gambling help.

Examples

Examples use reserved example domains or are labeled illustrative. The workbench preview on the home page uses example.com input and shows the result of a real syntax check, not real site data.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix the page, add a dated note at the end saying what changed, and update the page's "Updated" date. Typos and broken links are fixed without a note. To report an error, contact the editors with the page address and a link to the source that shows the error.

Updates

Sources are rechecked every quarter and when Google or a regulator announces a relevant change. The "Updated" date changes only for substantial edits; the header's "Sources checked" date records the last full review.
