International Market Atlas
Hreflanova covers four markets: the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain and Canada. Each has its own regulator, register and rules, and each changes what a correct international SEO setup looks like. Compare them here, then open the market guide.

"None found" means we found no such rule in the sources checked for these guides. It is not legal advice that no rule exists.
Why only four markets
We cover a market only where a licensing route exists and its rules can be sourced from the regulator or the law. Some countries prohibit online gambling or the products these guides discuss; others are left out because we cannot yet describe their rules to our evidence standard. A market's absence here is not a statement that it is open or closed.
How the markets change the setup
- Spain fixes the domain: es-ES lives on the operator's .es site, so hreflang sets that include Spain are cross-domain.
- Germany splits the product: virtual slots and online table games have different legal bases, which affects URLs, keywords and copy.
- Canada splits the country: provinces decide, hreflang cannot, and Québec adds French language duties.
- Great Britain is the simplest locale and the most detailed rulebook for content, with frequent changes to promotions, stakes and limits.
